B&B Hotel Malts is an inviting, fully renovated boutique hotel and bed & breakfast located in the historic city center of vibrant Haarlem. Housed in a beautiful, distinctive building, the property exudes the authentic atmosphere of yesteryear while offering modern comfort and a fresh, contemporary feel. Dating back to 1913, the building is an official national monument featuring many original details; it is situated on the charming, quiet Zijlstraat—one of Haarlem’s many lovely shopping streets.

The Large rooms are very spacious, equipped with a comfortable and cozy seating area and a small refrigerator with freezer compartment. The rooms have a private bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink.
The room has a digital flat-screen TV/radio and free access to wireless internet/WIFI.
The Large room is set up for two people. Upon request, a third bed can be added.

Terrace Room

The Terrace Room, located on the south side, is a beautiful bright room with a private terrace (12 m²) and a cozy seating area. Perfect for enjoying a drink before or after dinner, or for a nice cup of coffee in the morning, weather permitting. Smoking is allowed on the balcony.
This double room is located on the first floor.
This room has two comfortable armchairs and a small refrigerator with freezer compartment.

Comfort Room

Our Comfort Room is a comfortable room for 2 people with a private bathroom in the room with shower, toilet, and sink. The room has a flat-screen TV/radio and free access to wireless internet/WIFI. This room is slightly more spacious than the Economy and Small rooms. There is one more room type that is larger, which is the Large Room.

Small / Twin Room

The Small / Twin Room is a great double room with 2 beds that can be placed together or apart on request.
The room has a private bathroom in the room with shower, toilet, and sink. It also has a flat-screen TV/radio and free access to wireless internet/WIFI.
If you want more space in the room or have a lot of luggage, we recommend one of our other room types (Large or Standard).
This room does not allow for an extra bed or baby cot.

Economy Room

The Economy rooms are simple small rooms, yet equipped with all facilities. This room for 2 people has 2 beds (80cm x 200cm). The rooms have a private bathroom in the room with shower, toilet, and sink. The room features a flat-screen TV/radio and offers free access to wireless internet/WIFI.
If you would like more space in the room or have a lot of luggage, we recommend one of our other room types (Large or Comfort).

Waking up at B&B Hotel Malts starts with a delicious breakfast.
We offer a generous and fresh breakfast buffet daily from 8:00 to 10:30 in the cozy breakfast room. For breakfast we serve freshly baked croissants and rolls, various cold cuts, and delicious artisanal young and aged cheese from ’t Kaaswinkeltje.
All of this with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice, yogurt with fruit and muesli, and a cup of coffee from our espresso machine or a nice cup of tea in your favorite flavor. In short, there’s no better way to start your day in Haarlem!

Discover beautiful Haarlem
Historic Haarlem is literally at your feet. Within walking distance you will find all the main attractions of our beautiful city. In addition to historic monuments, a vibrant nightlife (200 restaurants and 40 cafés), and a varied range of shops with many charming boutiques (regularly voted the most attractive shopping city), you will also find the famous Teylers Museum and Frans Hals Museum. Also worth visiting are the Dolhuis, the Corrie ten Boom House, the Adriaan Windmill Museum, and much more. For an evening of culture: Hotel Malts is located between the Stadsschouwburg, the Philharmonie/Toneelschuur, and the Patronaat.

Haarlem has many restaurants/cafés/terraces! Please note that it can get pleasantly busy, especially on weekends. We recommend making a reservation in advance. You can find our restaurant suggestions under ‘Discover Haarlem’.
Most museums and tourist attractions use online tickets and time slots, so book in advance!
