The building that houses Hotel Malts dates back to the early 20th century and has a classic stately appearance with large monumental windows and high ceilings. All rooms have their own layout and character and are furnished as 2-person rooms. The large rooms can be expanded to accommodate 3 people.
Upon request, we can separate the beds into 2 single beds/twin beds.
Our rooms are fully equipped with all comforts
The well-maintained rooms at Hotel Malts have their own fresh bathroom with a walk-in shower, toilet, and washbasin. All rooms include a hairdryer and a closet with clothes hangers. There are enough power outlets, both by the bed and in the bathroom.
All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen television, radio, and free access to excellent wireless internet/WiFi. Our rooms also come with a fan, central heating, and the bathroom features underfloor heating for extra comfort! All rooms can be opened for fresh air.
Large rooms and terrace room
Our large rooms are ideal for longer stays. These spacious rooms are equipped with a cozy sitting area with a comfortable sofa. They also include a safe, useful for storing valuables. Additionally, Hotel Malts has as a highlight the beautiful terrace room with a furnished outdoor terrace (3x4m).
Housekeeping
There is a daily housekeeping service. We provide bed linen & towels and hand soap and shampoo/shower gel in the bathroom.

Large Room
2 to 3 persons
The Large rooms are very spacious, equipped with a comfortable and cozy seating area and a small refrigerator with freezer compartment. The rooms have a private bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink.
The room has a digital flat-screen TV/radio and free access to wireless internet/WIFI.
The Large room is set up for two people. Upon request, a third bed can be added.

Terrace Room
2 persons
The Terrace Room, located on the south side, is a beautiful bright room with a private terrace (12 m²) and a cozy seating area. Perfect for enjoying a drink before or after dinner, or for a nice cup of coffee in the morning, weather permitting. Smoking is allowed on the balcony.
This double room is located on the first floor.
This room has two comfortable armchairs and a small refrigerator with freezer compartment.
Area: 20 m² + 12 m² terrace
Standard Room
2 persons
Our Standard Room is a comfortable room for 2 people with a private bathroom in the room with shower, toilet, and sink. The room has a flat-screen TV/radio and free access to wireless internet/WIFI. This room is slightly more spacious than the Budget and Small rooms. There is one more room type that is larger, which is the Large Room.

Small / Twin Room
2 x single beds
The Small / Twin Room is a great double room with 2 beds that can be placed together or apart on request.
The room has a private bathroom in the room with shower, toilet, and sink. It also has a flat-screen TV/radio and free access to wireless internet/WIFI.
If you want more space in the room or have a lot of luggage, we recommend one of our other room types (Large or Standard).
This room does not allow for an extra bed or baby cot.

Budget Room
2 persons
The Budget rooms are simple small rooms, yet equipped with all facilities. This room for 2 people has 2 beds (80cm x 200cm). The rooms have a private bathroom in the room with shower, toilet, and sink. The room features a flat-screen TV/radio and offers free access to wireless internet/WIFI.
If you would like more space in the room or have a lot of luggage, we recommend one of our other room types (Large or Standard).
The Budget room does not allow for an extra bed or baby cot.

Midweek Package

On Sundays, the shops and museums are open. On Mondays, the Museum Mill De Adriaan, the Hofjes, and the Grote Kerk are open!

Green energy
Hotel Malts is a sustainable hotel. We are environmentally conscious and have, among other things, installed 60 solar panels on the roof to help power our hotel. We also separate our waste as much as possible.
Good to know
The hotel rooms (the entire hotel) are located on the first and second floor of the building. We don’t have an elevator, so it’s important that our guests can use stairs, but of course we’re happy to assist with carrying your luggage up and down the stairs!
