Hotel Malts is located in the pedestrian zone of the city center. We do not have our own parking spaces, and it is not possible to park at the door to load or unload. If you are arriving by car, you can park for a fee in the parking garages (Raaks is a 3-minute walk) nearby or on the street outside the city center.

Parking nearby
Just a 3-minute walk from Hotel Malts you’ll find the Raaks parking garage.

– night-evening rate 19:00 – 08:00: just €3.47 flat per visit
A cheaper option is Interparking at the station, but you need to reserve in advance and it’s an 8-minute walk.
Long-term parking
For a longer stay, for example from 3 nights, we recommend purchasing a weekly pass for approximately €75 at the ticket machine in the Raaks parking garage. This can be requested directly in the garage by contacting the attendant at the payment terminal. With this, you can enter and exit unlimited for a week.
ParkBee
Affordable parking is available via ParkBee. For info and more low-cost parking spots in Haarlem, you can consult the ParkBee website.
Free parking (at your own risk).
In Haarlem, you have the possibility to park for free in certain areas. Check prettigparkeren.nl as well.
– Parking in a residential area, Adriaan Stoopplein, around 20 minutes walking distance to the hotel.
Note: There are free and permit-holder-only parking spaces.
– At Transferium P+R near Haarlem-Spaarnwoude Station, you can park for free.
Then take the train to Haarlem Station (next stop).
If you have a lot of luggage, you can briefly park upon arrival on Nassaulaan (parking meter €5.80 per hour),
unload your luggage, and then park the car elsewhere.
You may only briefly park in front of the hotel to load/unload between 6:00 and 11:00 in the morning.
TRAIN - HAARLEM STATION
From Haarlem Central Station, it’s a 10-minute walk to Hotel Malts, located at Zijlstraat 58.
From the station, walk toward the side where the buses are, via Kruisweg toward the Grote Markt.
Continue via Barteljorisstraat or Nieuwe Groenmarkt and turn right into Zijlstraat.
You’ll find B&B Hotel Malts on the left side, across from number 58.

SCHIPHOL – RED BUS 300
If you arrive at Schiphol Airport, the best option is to take bus no. 300 (direction Haarlem Station), which will take you directly to the center of Haarlem in 35 minutes.
Price is €6.50 per person, PIN or credit card only — no cash. You can use your debit/credit card as a travel pass to check in and out.
Get off at the Verwulft stop (just past McDonald’s), then walk along the Gedempte Oude Gracht and take the third street on the right.
You will now be on Zijlstraat. Hotel Malts is at number 58. The entrance is on the left-hand side of the building.
BIKE
We do not have our own bike storage, but there is a secured bicycle parking facility at the Grote Markt/Smedestraat (200 meters away),
where you can park your bike overnight for €1 from Monday to Saturday. On Sundays and public holidays, opening hours may vary.
CHECK-IN TIMES
Check-in is possible between 13:00 and 17:00.
If you’d like to drop off your luggage in the morning, you are most welcome to do so starting from 10:00.
Feel free to come to the hotel — we’ll offer you a cup of coffee or tea and share tips about fun things to do in Haarlem! We’ll hand you the key right away.

Large Room
2 to 3 persons
The Large Rooms are very spacious, feature a comfortable and cozy sitting area, and include a small fridge with a freezer compartment. Each room has a private bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink.
Each room includes a digital flat-screen TV/radio and free access to wireless internet/WIFI.
The Large Room is arranged for two people. Upon request, a third bed can be added.

Terrace Room

The Terrace Room, located on the south side, is a beautiful bright room with a private terrace (12 m²) and a cozy seating area. Perfect for enjoying a drink before or after meals, or sipping a nice cup of coffee in the morning — weather permitting. Outdoor smoking on the balcony is allowed.
This 2-person room is located on the first floor.
This room has two comfortable armchairs and a small fridge with a freezer compartment.

Standard Room
2 persons
Our Standard Room is a comfortable room for 2 people with a private bathroom including a shower, toilet, and sink. The room includes a flat-screen TV/radio and free access to wireless internet/WIFI. This room is slightly more spacious than the Budget and Small rooms. We have one room type that is even larger — the Large Room.

Small / Twin Room
2 x single beds
The Small / Twin Room is a nice 2-person room with 2 beds that can be placed together or separately upon request.
The room includes a private bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink. It also has a flat-screen TV/radio and free access to wireless internet/WIFI.
If you’d like more space in the room or have a lot of luggage, we recommend one of our other room types (Large or Standard).
This room does not allow for an extra bed or baby crib.

Budget Room

The Budget Rooms are simple, small rooms equipped with all necessary facilities. This room for 2 people has two beds of 80cm x 200cm. Each room has a private bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink. The room also includes a flat-screen TV/radio and free access to wireless internet/WIFI.
If you’d like more space in the room or have a lot of luggage, we recommend one of our other room types (Large or Standard).
