Below is some useful information for before, during and after your stay.

Hotel-Malts-Haarlem

Reservations

Availability and prices you will find on our reservation page. Standard B&B Room rates are including breakfastbuffet Standard Bed Only rates are excluding breakfast, breakfast is available at € 13,50 per person. Non Refundable rates: is a cheaper rate, payment of room price at reservation, there will be no refund in case of cancellation or alteration for whatever reason. All room rates are excluding citytax € 5,- per person per night.

Check in

Check in hours from 13.00 to 17.00 hrs.
We can guarantee your room ready for check in from 13.00 hrs. However you are more than welcome to come to the hotel from 08.00 in the morning to leave your bagage with us. Please come to the hotel, you can have some coffee or tea and we can inform you about nice things to see and do in Haarlem.

Check out

You can check out in the morning from 08.00 to 11.00 hrs. On the day of departure there are possibilities to leave luggage in the luggage store until 16.00 hrs

Arrival after 17.00 hrs

If you think you will arrive after 17:00 (5 pm), which is no problem, please get in touch with us on the day of arrival before 16:00 hours (4 pm) tel:(0031 023 5512385) or email info@maltshotel.nl For late checkin we have an easy self checkin procedure.

Payment

Our preferred payment is PIN/EC-Bankcard/Maestro/VPay or CASH (Euro’s).
We also accept MasterCard & VISA.

Free luggage store

On the day of arrival you can leave your luggage from 08.00 o’clock in the morning. Also on the day of departure there are possibilities to leave luggage in the luggage store until 16.00 hrs. We do not have an elevator but are happy to help you with your luggage up the stairs.
Malts fietsen

Bicycles

We have 2 bicycles (3 gears, handbreak) for rent. Price is € 12,50 per bike per day. We can give you tips for a nice bicycle trip to the beach, National Park Kennemerduinen and the flowerfields. In case our bikes are booked or you prefer more sophisticated bikes with more gears or even E-bike, we have an arrangement with the bike rental company Rent-a-Bike where Malts guests get discount and you only have to return the bikes the next day before 11.00 instead of 18.00 the same day.

Bicycle Storage

We do not have a bicycle storage at the hotel, but there is a guarded bicycle parking just across the main square (Grote Markt) just 4 minutes walk from the hotel. It costs € 1,- per bike per night.

Extra bed / babycot on request

In the large rooms we can place a babycot for children to 3 years. Price is € 10,- per night.

Extra bed: only possible in the large room. Price for an extra bed including breakfast is € 35,- per night.

Pets

Pets are not allowed.

24 Hour Cancellation Policy

FREE CANCELLATION for standard reservations up to 24 hours before date of arrival, so up to and including 2 days before arrival date. Cancellation policy is the same as at Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com etc.
For a late cancellation or no show we will charge the first night.

Group reservation

For group reservations (4 rooms and more) we have different conditions for reservation & cancellation. Our B&B Hotel is not specially suited for large groups. For reservations from 4 rooms we require a deposit of 30% as a guarantee of the reserved amount 2 months before arrival day. Cancellation policy groups: • Between 7 and 0 day(s) before arrival: 100% of the reserved amount • Between 21 and 8 days before arrival: 50% of the reserved amount • More than 3 weeks before arrival: € 25,-

Uniform Conditions Horeca Nederland

The Uniform Conditions of Horeca Nederland apply to all our reservations.

Sport Tip

In case our stairs are not sufficient ‘work out’ for you, you can make us of the modern SportCity, literally around the corner from the hotel. SportCity offers guests from Hotel Malts, the ability to use the facilities (group lessons, solarium / sauna and fitness equipment) on an occasional base.  For information about SportCity: sportcity.nl/clubs/haarlem.
